The article deals with the influence of abnormally high temperatures of the aquatic environment on the histological structures of the liver of cyprinid fish in the conditions of the Daghestan coast waters of the Caspian Sea. It has been shown that stereotyped changes in the form of parenchyma destruction, necrosis, blood microcirculation disorders and fatty degeneration are observed in the liver of fish with prolonged exposure to high temperatures, contributing to the implementation of compensatory adapted reactions and various forms of adaptation to adverse conditions of the aquatic environment.
