COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE WORD "HOUSE" IN DAGHESTAN LANGUAGES

The paper deals with the problems of structure and origin of the words denoting «house» in the Daghestan languages. The common-Daghestan and common-Ibero-Caucasian roots are reconstructed. The article points at possible etymological similarity of the words under question with their counterparts in the Abkhaz-Adyghe and the Kartvelian languages.
