RURAL EVERYDAY LIFE IN DAGHESTAN DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

The article examines rural everyday life in Daghestan in the harsh conditions of wartime. The purpose of the article is to study the impact of the military situation on the daily life of the rural population, to show survival in extreme conditions. A complex of diverse sources allowed us to characterize the material and living conditions of villagers of different categories, the difficulties caused by wartime. Archival documents highlight the activities of the republican authorities to support families of veterans, war invalids. The war children memories help reconstruct the tragic events of those years through the eyes of eyewitnesses.
