The article deals with the problems of dialectology of the Dargin language, provides an overview of dialectological studies; analyzes the views of scientists on the number of dialects and dialects of the Dargin language. Existing studies of the dialects and the accents allow us to identify some idioms as independent unwritten languages of the Dargin group. These include the Kubachi, Kaitag and Chirag languages-dialects that are included in a supra-dialect association with the common Dargin literary language based on the Akusha dialect.
