DAGHESTAN WOMEN'S UNION" IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE "DASHING NINETIES": PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

The article deals with the living conditions and activities of women in Daghestan, their problems in the last decade of the ХХ century. An attempt was made to highlight the activities of the large republican public organization "Union of Women of Daghestan", aimed at supporting motherhood and childhood, the fight against terrorism, interaction with representatives of the Chechen Republic in resolving the issue of returning war-prisoners and other humanitarian aspects. It is shown how the "Union" became the subject of the socio-political life of Daghestan, which took on the difficult task of forming effective public organizations which, in turn, brought the problems of Daghestan families to power.
