The results of long-term field studies of bats in 8 abandoned tunnels of the foothills of the northern slope of the Turkestan range in the Guzlon Mountains, which are one of the spurs of the northern slope of the Turkestan range in Northern Tajikistan, are presented. The bat fauna has been determined by systematic visits to the abandoned tunnels and registration of all discovered animals in the shelter with determination of their species, sex and age composition. These data were supplemented by the method of trapping bats with spider webs at an artificial reservoir located at the foot of the Guzlon. At the same time, acoustic monitoring of echolocation signals of hunting bats has been carried out. The best effect in studying the local bat fauna is provided by combining all three field methods: visiting bat shelters, trapping them with spider webs and using an ultrasonic detector.
