The work describes mountain soils on the example of the village Tsovkra-2, the Kuli district of Daghestan. Structural state and humus content in the soils at various elevations and slope exposures have been studied. As well studied have been the mountain-meadow alpine, mountain-meadow subalpine and brown forest soils. Tests of humus content and soil structure have been carried out. Calculations of the structural coefficient, water strength coefficient, and structural state have also been carried out.
