Mostly for the first time in Russian ethnography, based on the Daghestan materials, through the prism of ritual practices and oral folk art, the connection of the material world with the spiritual component of the traditional everyday culture of the peoples of Daghestan is revealed, ritual actions involving material components (ceremonial food and clothing, cult, sacral objects) and their ritual significance and functions are investigated.
