THE KHAKHITA SUBDIALECT OF THE EASTERN DIALECT OF THE AVAR LANGUAGE (SOME PHONETIC FEATURES)

The presented article solves the research problem - description of phonetic features of the Khakhita subdialect of the eastern dialect in comparison with the literary Avar language. To solve this problem the following methods were used: synchronous-descriptive and comparative. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the involvement of previously unexplored material of one of the subdialects of the eastern dialect of the Avar language in scientific circulation. In our opinion the most striking distinctive features of the eastern dialect are presented in the studied dialect in its phonetic system. Here, there was a partial degradation of the lateral system, both affricates and spirants. The results obtained in this article are new. They have scientific and practical significance for linguistic Daghestan studies. The material of the article will serve as a support for writing historical phonetics and grammar of the Avar language.
