REVIEW OF THE BOOK: MALLAEVA Z.M. MORPHEMIC STRUCTURE OF THE AVAR LANGUAGE

The monograph under review is devoted to a monographic study of the structural organization of the morpheme as the most important element of any language. In the monograph by Z.M. Mallaeva, identified and described are the specific structural models (types) of the nominal and verbal morphemes of the Avar language; considered is the relationship between the morpheme and the root, the morpheme and the affix; described is the phonetic processes that determines appearance of the allomorphs and the homomorphs. The index of the nominal and verbal affix morphemes has been compiled. The monograph under review is of interest to all linguists interested in morphemics as a part of Linguistics.
