Based on the documentations of the Muslim charity societies preserved in Ismail Gasprinsky's personal library, the article examines his cultural and educational activities. The analysis of the articles published in the newspaper Terjiman made it possible to identify the lost editions of the book collection, as well as identify the Muslim charity societies in whose fate I. Gasprinsky was directly involved.
