THE UFA RAILWAY WORKERS AFTER THE REVOLUTION OF 1905-1907
The article analyzes the social and political situation at the Ufa railway workshops and depots in 1906-1913. It tells about the railway management, responding to the underground revolutionaries among the workers and people sympathizing the revolutionary ideas. The study substantially focuses on the newspaper polemics, devoted to labour relations at the Ufa railway enterprises and shown on pages of the city press of the time. The research assesses the role of the local press in settling conflicts between the railway workers and their management.
