The report highlights the history of identifying and conducting a preliminary study of an early medieval three-apse church within the Bzyb Fortress, located in the Republic of Abkhazia. It provides a brief overview of previous research at this complex, emphasizing the absence of any data on the discovered structure in the academic literature. Since the structure is almost entirely backfilled, the presented plan of the identified building cannot be precise. However, the lines of the walls and the outer faces of the three apses have been recorded, enabling a comparative analysis with other studied ecclesiastical structures in Abkhazia.
