A system of cooling on the basis of seasonal storage of natural cold accumulated through the production of ice in winter time and stored in insulated storage with utilization of the stored “cold” in warm seasons is described. A design of seasonal cold storage, equipped with a system for fine spraying of water into the cold air to get ice is discussed. Results of economic evaluation of such devices utilization for cold supply of vegetable stores are presented.
