THE FORMATION OF COMPOUNDS IN AVAR LANGUAGE

The article deals with the problems of the formation of compounds in Avar. In the compound words the syntactic relations between the components are identical to those in the word combinations they are derived from. The relation between them is qualifying, i.e. the first component is the modifier for the second one.
