The article presents data on the fishery significance of the Kizlyar and Agrakhan bays. Based on the results of the conducted researches, an assessment of the current state of the bays and recommendations on the need for ongoing and capital reclamation works to preserve the natural spawning grounds of passing and semi-passing fish species are given.
