CONTRIBUTION OF DAGHESTAN WOMEN TO INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

The article examines the activities of state authorities, directors of industrial enterprises and production trusts, as well as vocational educational institutions in the accelerated training of skilled personnel for plants, factories, and transport to replace men drafted to the front during the Great Patriotic War in the Daghestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. It is noted that men in production were primarily replaced by women, who were previously homemakers or had low qualifications. Information is presented about women who were promoted to managerial positions, including their profiles. New professions mastered by Daghestan women during the period under review are listed.
