The article on the basis of sociological research carries out the analysis of the current state of the inter-ethnic relations in the Republic of Daghestan. Opinions of the residents of Daghestan concerning the development prospects of the inter-ethnic situation in the Republic are analyzed. Conflict-generating factors of the interethnic relations in the Republic are considered against the background of the characteristics of power quality and efficiency of the Executive bodies and local organs of self-governing.
