ABOUT SOME MEGALITHIC MONUMENTS OF ABKHAZIA

The paper is devoted to the condition of the several megalithic monuments of the Gulrypsh and the Sukhumi districts of the Republic of Abkhazia. Described are the dolmen and the stone box near the village of Azanta and the group of dolmens in the village of Upper Eshera. Besides, brief information about the megalithic monument discovered in the vicinity of the village of Tsebelda, the Gulrypsh district, is given. The thorough observation allows to conclude that the object is an unfinished dolmen monument. We already know the examples of similar structures in other places of the Western Caucasus, in the Krasnodar region.
