This article presents the results of an archaeological survey in the Buinaksk district of the Republic of Daghestan in 2020. The investigation focused on two sites: the Khuribughighokh and Mizhghi fortified settlements. The fieldwork enabled a more precise determination of the sites' chronology and boundaries. Based on the findings, both settlements are tentatively dated to the X-XIII centuries AD.
