FROM THE HISTORY OF STUDYING THE TERMINOLOGY OF RUSSIA’S TURKIC LANGUAGES

The article provides an overview of the history of the development of terminology and terminography in the titular and non-titular Turkic languages of Russia. Dissertation research, monographs and terminological dictionaries published in Turkic linguistics in Russia are reviewed in the article. The terminology of the humanities is developed in Turkic linguistics: socio-political, linguistic, literary terminology, with the exception of the Tatar and Bashkir languages. Terminology and terminography are most developed in Tatar and Bashkir linguistics. Among the types of terminological dictionaries, bilingual Russian-national terminological dictionaries for various thematic groups largely prevail.
